The Ezine Supplemental is out. You can goto the usual place in the Additional Information section of the Perry Research website or go directly to the page in the forums here.
Remember that the blog will be closing down in a few weeks. The forums will take over the responsibilities that the blog has since last March.
The new issue of the Perry Ezine is out. The Supplemental will follow on the 14th and Vol 1 is still being worked on (abt 75%).
With the forums taking over the updates, it being easier for me to use, the blog will be shut down in a few weeks. The main forums page will replace the blog and all Ezine downloads will be accessible from an all new Perry Ezine page within the forums. This shortens my work time and is more efficent.
The Ezine can be downloaded from the forums main page in the right column under the heading of Perry Ezine Downloads or here. Its in PDF format. If there are any problems downloading it, let me know.
The Perry Research website now has sources (footnotes) on many of the family pages. This will help researchers. Also, a few corrections were made to three family pages and additions were added to Swift Perry's and Robert E. Perry's families. I hope Swift's page doesn't have "footnote disease"! The Additional Information page has a few changes on it as well. Now it is easier to click on links to the Blog, Forums, Guest Book, & Ezine Supplemental.
The Forums now have several topics added and one poll question so don't forget to visit and participant. The link is listed in the Additional Information section of the website and in the entry for the 14th of this month just below this entry.
The January issue of the Perry Ezine is ready and will be available for download on the 4th of January. The Vol. 1 Perry Ezine is now 70% completed and should be finished sometime in early to mid-January! Check back for updates.
The Perry Research Forums is up and running! Check it out here.
You can read messages now, but if you want to reply, comment, or add a topic, you need to become a member. It's free and all you need is to create your own username and password, plus you can edit your profile with additional information. Hopefully, we will have alot of productive discussions in the forums and further our Perry research. If you have any questions, click on the FAQ link at the top left of the forums screen. If that doesn't help then email me.
The Ezine Supplemental for June through December is out!
If you haven't already, read the update on the 7th listed just under this one for info on Vol. 1 of the Perry Ezine. More updates are on the way!
The Supplemental contains the answer to June's poll question plus info on the "little assignment" and on January 08's issue of the Perry Ezine! It's located here.
It's been awhile since I've posted to the blog, released the Ezine, or updated the website. I apologize and know that an explanation is in order.
In early July, my work schedule changed drastically. I was asked to not only do my work, but fill in for awhile in another shift until a replacement worker was hired. This "other shift" turned out to be more than eight hours a day and soon I found myself working seven days a week, 14 to 19 hours on weekdays and 12 to 16 hours on the weekends. This lasted for several months with only a few days off total (in which I slept). Safe to say, I did not have time to use the computer and my research, business, email, and other computer related activities were put on the back burner. Finally, the company hired a new worker and my hours started to slowly return to normal just in time for the holidays. Then I started trying to get caught up on my work on the computer. My home business came first and now I am working on the website and Perry Ezine.
I plan to have an update on the website next week and I am trying to fix a few old issues with the site and the blog. Also, instead of trying to make individual issues of the Perry Ezine to finish the year, I am putting together all of the previous issues plus the information I had planned on adding to the remaining issues of the year. It will be released as a full volume and contain over 120 pages including all of the 1790 Census of Perrys!
The Ezine Supplemental for June to Dec. will be posted on the website on the 12th and the January issue of the Perry Ezine will be on time. Stay tuned for updates on the Vol 1 Perry Ezine.
Finally, the June issue of the Perry Ezine is finished. I am working hard to get the July issue out asap!
The link to the regular pdf version is here.
The link to the Word version for those of you who can't use pdf is here.
I am trying to finish up the June issue of the Perry Ezine and start on the July issue to try to get it out as quickly as possible. This delay was caused by my long work hours throughout most of late May and June. The June issue should be out tomorrow and the supplemental will be ready around the 12th of July. The July issue may be ready before the 14th, I hope. Sorry for the long delay. It could not be helped.
The June issue will have more details about the delay plus as interesting announcement. Also, any articles submitted from now to August 1st will be in the August issue of the Ezine.
In case you missed them, now you can download back issues of the Perry Ezine! Below are the links for the issues from January through April. They are in pdf format. The new issue of the Perry Ezine will be out next week!

The Ezine Supplemental for May is on the website now. It contains a poll question so be sure to read it.
The June issue of the Perry Ezine will be out on the 4th and the supplemental with follow on or around the 12th. Remember, that the Ezine is now a download here on the blog.
Back issues of the Perry Ezine will be available here in a few days!
After some delays the May issue of the Perry Ezine is out! I have already started work on the next issue of the Ezine so it will not be late.
I am also working on some major updates for the website over the next few weeks. These updates include minor changes to some of the family group pages, group pages opening for the new groups recently added, and updates to the blog.
These updates will be listed here on the blog when finished. As for the blog updates themselves; I have now found a way to offer the Perry Ezine online for everyone to download! This eliminates the problem that some people have accepting email attachments. You can download the Perry Ezine in pdf format here or for those of you that have computers that do not accept pdf format you can download the MSWord version here.
Starting in June, everytime the Perry Ezine comes out, it will be listed here on the Perry Research blog around the 5th of the month. To be able to download the Ezine you need a password. I am emailing everyone subscribed to the Ezine today with the easy to remember password. If you are not yet a subscriber or forgot the password, email me at pennd002@lightlynx.net for the password. Back issues of the Perry Ezine will become available for download in the near future.
Stay tuned to the blog for updates.
The Ezine Supplemental should be ready tomorrow. It is basically a message about the website and updates for the next month.
I plan to have some kind of update done before the end of the month and the May issue of the Ezine should be on time.
This is the starting entry for the queries on the blog. Anyone can click on "post comment" to type in a query here. Once you come to the blog, if you don't see the queries section click on "Queries" in the "Entries by topic" list on the left hand side of the page.
Also, if you have an answer to a query go ahead and post it here as well.
The April issue of the Perry Ezine is out! If you subscribed and haven't received it, let me know.
This month's issue contains the second part of the 1790 MA Census for Perry's, information about Perry families in Ireland, and much more! The supplemental will be out around the 20th.
The Ezine Supplemental for March is up. I made a few minor updates to the website and I hope to add more soon.
In a few days, I will be adding an entry for queries and anyone can post comments, queries, or answers themselves.
I also would like to keep the poll going from the March issue of the Ezine. Should pictures be a part of the Ezine from time to time? I have only had a few responses (all were yes), but I would like for some more participation and input on this subject. Post comments and votes here!
I lightened up the colors for the blog so now it is easier to see.
The Perry Ezine Supplemental should be ready in a day or so and then I will be working on some updates to the website. This time, the supplemental will be listed until about the 20th of April due to the previous delay so that everyone will have time to read it.
The next issue of the Perry Ezine should be right on time on the 5th! It's nearly complete now.
I have started this blog in the hopes that it will help Perry researchers communicate more quickly.
In this blog you can look for updates on the Perry Research website, news about the Perry Ezine, post comments or suggestions, participate in polls, read queries, find links to other Perry websites, and even share pictures!
This website also has a RSS feed and is moblog ready.
If you have any questions about how to use the blog, email them to me at: pennd002@lightlynx.net.
